Removing

Remove steering column trim. See: Steering/Steering Column

Remove return spring with slip ring, refer to=> [ Airbag Spiral Spring/Return Spring with Slip Ring ] See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag
Systems/Clockspring Assembly / Spiral Cable/Service and Repair.

Remove Steering Angle Sensor (G85) - arrow -.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

After replacing the steering angle sensor (G85) it must adapted in "Guided Fault Finding" or in "Guided Functions " Vehicle diagnosis, testing and
information system VAS 5051.
