‹› Oil collecting and extracting device (V.A.G 1782 )
Removing
Proceed as follows:
CAUTION!
Risk of transmission damage.
‹› Do not run engine or tow vehicle with oil pan removed or without transmission fluid.

CAUTION!
Risk of destroying electronic components when disconnecting the battery.
‹› Observe measures for disconnecting battery.

With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) cable.

Drain transmission fluid => [ Transmission Fluid, Changing and Filling ] See: Fluid - A/T/Service and Repair/Transmission Fluid, Changing and
Filling.

Remove nut - 1 - from oil pan and press bracket - A - upward.

On vehicle with shield - A - at bottom of transmission, remove shield - arrows -.
