Upper A-Pillar Trim

Upper A-pillar Trim

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing

-

Remove roof frame trim. See: Roof Frame Trim 

-

Unclip upper A-pillar trim from body beginning at top using Trim Removal Wedge (3409).

Remove upper A-pillar trim up out of ribbed instrument panel ridge. 

Installation

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order. Observe the following when doing so:

‹› If trim clamps remain in body mounting points, remove these and insert them in trim.

‹› Check clamps for damage or deformation, replace if necessary.

First insert upper A-pillar trim - 1 - in ribbed instrument panel ridge - 2 - in - direction of arrow -.

Then clip in upper A-pillar trim and stretch door seal lip over upper A-pillar trim.
