Balance Shaft Module with Oil Pump

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Securing pin (T10027)

Removing

-

Remove oil pan => [ Oil Pan ] See: Engine Lubrication/Oil Pan/Service and Repair/Oil Pan.

CAUTION!
Only turn over the engine at the crankshaft in direction of engine rotation (clockwise).

‹› Turning over the engine is performed at the center bolt of the crankshaft.

Bring camshaft gear to marking for TDC cylinder 1 by turning crankshaft. Marking on camshaft gear must align with arrow on toothed belt guard.

Pull off chain guard. Disengage locking lugs through openings -  arrows - if necessary using a small screwdriver.
