Rear Final Drive 02D and 0AV, Checking Axle Oil Level

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1331)

‹› To check axle oil level, vehicle must be level.

‹› For the transmission fluid specification for rear final drive. Refer to.

Remove oil filler plug - arrow - to check axle oil. 

‹› Specification: The oil level is correct when the rear final drive is filled to the lower edge of the filler hole. Add axle oil if necessary.

Insert the plug - arrow - and fasten.
