‹› 20 Nm plus an additional 90° turn

‹› Always replace after removal

Power-Assisted Steering Gear

‹› Removing and installing, refer to => [ Electro-Mechanical Steering Gear ] See: Electro-Mechanical Steering Gear

‹› When converting from Generation II steering gear to Generation II, the electrical wire - 3 - must also be replaced.

‹› With power steering control module (J500)

‹› Can be tested in "Guided Fault Finding" using the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051B )
