‹› Also secures heat shield

20 - Rear driveshaft tube

‹› Do not damage centering bushing - 5 - and seal when removing and installing in center of flange

‹› Clamp to loosen and tighten bolted connections, refer to => [ Rear Driveshaft Tube, Clamping in Vise with ] See: Overhaul

21 - Centering bushing

22 - Bolt

‹› 60 Nm

‹› Allocation, refer to => [ Note location of various collar bolts ] See: Driveshaft with Separable Center Support, through 05.2007, Installing

23 - Balance nut

‹› 10 Nm

‹› Not present on all driveshafts

‹› If collar bolt was loosened , balance nut and balance bolt  must not be reinstalled 

24 - Balance disc

‹› Only present in balanced final drive

25 - Bolt

‹› 50 Nm plus an additional 90° turn

‹› Always replace

26 - Flexible disc with vibration dampener
