Condition

The alarm sounds without theft attempt. In measured value block 20 of the vehicle electrical system control unit, J519 (address code 09), the alarm horn
can be identified as the source of the alarm activation.

Production Solution

New software in the vehicle electrical system control unit (J519) addressed the condition.

Service

1. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.

2. Update the vehicle electrical system control unit (J519) using the SVM action code as listed in the table above if necessary.

Tip: It is not necessary to replace the alarm horn.
