Luggage Compartment Side Trim

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing

-

Fold luggage compartment floor mat completely forward.

-

Remove the luggage compartment floor covering.

-

Remove rear cross panel trim. See: Rear Cross Panel Trim

Only right luggage compartment side trim

-

Using a screwdriver, pry out light - 1 - on side -  3 -.

The - arrow - points to the direction of travel.

-

Disconnect the connector - 2 -.

Procedure for both sides

Unclip luggage compartment side trim with Trim Removal Wedge (3409).

Installation

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order. Observe the following when doing so:

‹› If trim clamps remain in body mounting points, remove these and insert them in trim.

‹› Check clamps for damage or deformation, replace if necessary.

Stretch rear lid seal lip over luggage compartment side trim.
