Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Multi-Point Socket (T40080)

‹› Camshaft Locator (T10252)

‹› Pin Wrench (T10020)

‹› Securing Pin (T10115)

‹› Counter-Holder Tool (3036)

‹› Hose Clamps Up To 25 Mm Diameter (3094)

Removing

Proceed as follows:

-

Remove high pressure pump. See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Pump

Remove cylinder head cover. Refer to => [ Cylinder Head Cover ] See: Cylinder Head Assembly/Valve Cover/Service and Repair/Cylinder Head
Cover.

Remove vacuum pump. Refer to => Brake System 47 Removal and Installation.

Remove bolts - arrows -.

‹› Ignore - 1 -.

-

Clamp off coolant hoses - 1 - and - 2 - with hose clamps up to 25 mm dia. and remove them.
