Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair
Brake Light Switch
Removing
‹› The brake light switch is installed on brake master cylinder.
‹› The brake light switch is not adjusted.

Disconnect electrical connector - 1 -.

Remove brake light switch retaining bolt - 2 - from brake master cylinder.

Remove brake light switch down from brake master cylinder and remove switch upward from retaining tab.
Installing
-
Installation is in reverse order of removal. Ensure top of switch is seated correctly in retaining tab when doing so.
‹› The brake light switch is not adjusted.
