‹› Ensure that electrical connections are pushed in as far as stop and engage with a click.

Make sure the electrical wire - arrow - to coupling - 3 - is also secured to belt roller housing - 1 - with cable ties - 2 -.
CAUTION!
If the additional fastener on the belt roller housing is missing, the wire to the roller can be rubbed and lead to a malfunction of the
pyrotechnic belt tensioner or switchable belt load limiter.

Switch on ignition.
CAUTION!
Ignition must be on when connecting battery. If pyrotechnic components (e.g. airbag, belt tensioner) are not repaired correctly, they may
deploy unintentionally after connecting battery. There must not be anyone inside the vehicle when connecting the battery.

Connect battery with ignition on.

If Airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) (K75 ) indicates a fault after installation, DTC memory must be checked, deleted and checked again.
