Remove lower part of air filter housing - arrows -. 

-

If equipped, remove the cable tie for the protective boot.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - 4 - by sliding the retainer back and pressing the release down.

Fold back the boot - 5 - and disconnect the B+ wire -  6 - from the solenoid switch.

-

Remove the screws - 1 - and - 2 - and then remove the starter - 3 - upward.

Installing

‹› Tightening specification, refer to=> [ Starter Assembly Overview ] See: Starter Assembly Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Install the air filter housing.
