Shift selector lever from "S" to "P". 

‹› Check whether selector lever can be shifted easily.

‹› If selector mechanism is difficult to move, selector lever cable must be replaced or selector mechanism must be serviced.

Tighten selector mechanism shift unit - arrows -.

Install heat shield.

Install driveshaft. 

-

Reconnect exhaust system.

Adjust selector lever cable. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable, Adjusting ] See: Adjustments.

Check shift mechanism. Refer to => [ Selector Mechanism and Ignition Key Removal Lock, Checking ] See: Actuators and Solenoids - A/T/Shift
Interlock Solenoid/Testing and Inspection.

Install noise insulation.
