printed on bar-code label on rear of transceiver

obtain necessary customer provided information (phone number, unlock code, security code, etc.)

call Cellular Telephone Company and inform representative of transceiver replacement
^
representative will ask for ESN and provide instructions and programming information
^
write down necessary telephone programming information
^
program telephone using information provided by both customer and Cellular Telephone Company, refer to booklet Cellular Telephone

If the phone won't go into programming,

check programming sequence and review instructions for proper programming

check speed of data entry - enter information without long pauses
