Protective Transportation Coating, Removal

Starting with October 1989 production, an acrylic coating has been applied to all Audi vehicles. This coating will protect against industrial fall out and
acid rain during transportation.

Audi vehicles with this protective coating have a green label on the windshield. The coating can be easily removed with a bio-degradeable solution.

CAUTION

Before using any chemicals or cleaning compounds, carefully read all of the cautions and medical information on the container. Always follow all of the
manufacturer's recommendations.

A container of coating remover is placed in the trunk of each vehicle. Be sure to use this product. VW or other products are not effective on the Audi
coating. Additional Audi coating remover can be ordered using Part No. 176 050 101B.
