Place trigger wheel on shaft with locating pin and lightly tap near the center of trigger wheel, if necessary, to seat it just below the snap ring
groove.

Install snap ring and new rotor (glue new rotor onto shaft being sure it is properly seated).

4.

Check that camshaft timing mark is still properly lined up. If not, turn engine by hand until it is.

5.

Install distributor so rotor lines up with timing mark on distributor body. 

6.

Install new shear bolt with cover and tighten.

LEFT SIDE DISTRIBUTOR

1.

To install the left side distributor, first, follow the procedure for installing the right side distributor. When right side distributor is correctly
installed and rotor is properly lined up with timing mark on distributor body:

Turn the crankshaft 90° in its normal direction of rotation.

3.

Install left side distributor so that the rotor is pointing at the #5 cylinder terminal of the distributor cap.

Check firing order, arrange spark plug wires as shown in diagram.
