Replacing left or right trailing arm

Note:

If the trailing arm is detached from the rear axle carrier/wheel
carrier, it is necessary after reinstallation to carry out a
wheel/chassis alignment check.

Release nuts (1, 3).

Unscrew bolts.

Remove trailing arm (2) downwards.

Installation:

Note insertion direction of bolts.

Replace self-locking nuts.

Tightening torque (on rear axle carrier) 33 32 1AZ

.

Tightening torque (on wheel carrier) 33 32 2AZ

.

After installation:

Perform chassis alignment check

RA  Replacing left or right trailing arm
