Removing and installing/replacing carrier for
front bumper trim
Important!
During replacement, all the cavities of the carrier (1) and the
crashbox (2) must be sealed with cavity sealant.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove front bumper trim
Version with brake air duct:
•
Remove front underbody protection
Version with brake air duct:
Release screw (1) on cooling air guide (2) on left/right.
Remove cooling air guide (2).
Note:
The following work step ends here:
"Removing and installing brake air duct".
Release screw (1) and cable holder (2) on carrier (3).
Remove fanfare horn (4).
Installation:
If necessary, replace faulty cable holder (2).
