Removing and installing rear lid
Read contents of Body, General.
Refer to the description texts of the KSD CD (FRU 41 62 000)
for details of stripping-down and rigging work.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove panels for rear lid
•
Disengage gas-filled strut
•
Disconnect all plug and socket cable connections on rear lid.
Warning!
Support rear lid in fully opened position with suitable
apparatus. Risk of injury.
Carry over the work step shown symmetrically to the other side of
the vehicle.
Release nuts (1).
Tightening torque, 41 62 5AZ
.
Unfasten screws (2).
Tightening torque, 41 62 1AZ
.
Remove rear lid.
