Replacing battery positive lead
Warning!
Observe safety instructions for handling vehicle battery.
Observe instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove power distributor
Important!
Do not under any circumstances pull/lever safety battery
terminal off by force.
Open cover (1) and slacken nut underneath. Tightening torque
61 21 1AZ
.
Slacken nut (2). Tightening torque 61 12 3AZ
.
If necessary, disconnect cable (4) from safety battery terminal.
Disconnect battery positive lead (3).
