Removing and installing/replacing
windscreen washer pump
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Release fluid reservoir for windscreen washer system and
pull out
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Note:
Catch any escaping washer fluid if necessary.
Detach hose (2) from windscreen washer pump (3).
Turn windscreen washer pump (3) if necessary and pull in
direction of arrow out of fluid reservoir for windscreen washer
system (4).
Installation:
•
Replace strainer for windscreen washer pump
•
Coat sealing ring of windscreen washer pump with antiseize
agent
•
Lay hose of windscreen washer pump without kinks
•
Fill fluid reservoir
