Removing and installing/replacing antenna
base
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove roof antenna rod
•
Remove both panels for roof pillars at front
•
Remove both panels for roof pillars at rear
•
Remove both panels for door pillars (top)
•
Remove roof switch cluster
•
Remove complete ceiling light (rear)
•
Remove both sun visors and counter-supports
•
Remove front and rear handles
Pull off roofliner mucket in work area.
Important!
Do not kink roofliner under any circumstances.
Unclip roofliner at front and rear.
Lower roofliner.
Unclip plug connections (1) on roof antenna cable holder (2).
Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
Disengage wires from lug (3).
Note:
Nut (4) is firmly connected to roof antenna cable holder (2).
Release nut (4), tightening torque 65 20 2AZ.
Remove roof antenna cable holder (2) downwards.
Remove antenna base (5) towards top.
