Workshop Equipment - Planning documentation

Situation:
1.) The WEP CD (Workshop Equipment and Planning documentation) has been completely
revised. This CD version supersedes the previous CD 08/2000.
2.) As presented in SWS2002-000202 (877), the sale of workshop equipment has been
managed by the company Cartool since 1 May 2002. Cartool offers a convenient method of
ordering through the Cartool Internet Shop.
Procedure:
1.) The new WEP CD will automatically be distributed as part of media invoicing.
Additional copies can be ordered as required from the BMW Parts and Accessories Service
(part number 01 69 0 026 085).
2.) For reasons of security, the Cartool Internet Shop can only be accessed by registered
users with a user ID and password.
For details of how to obtain a password: please refer to Enclosure 1.
Prices for individual products can be seen in the Internet Shop.
Note:
Help and assistance regarding the planning of workshop equipment and facilities is
available from VS-23 if a workshop is being newly established or converted.
Service Information bulletin 0 02 00 (592) "Workshop equipment - Planning documentation"
- version 08/2000 is no longer valid and must be removed from the SI folder "Special tools
and equipment".
