1 Series 123d (N47S) Coupe
Open coolant drain plug on engine block.
Tightening torque: 11 11 2AZ
.
Installation:
Replace seal.
Crank engine with special tool 11 6 480 until piston of cylinder
No. 1 is in TDC position.
Use special tool 11 5 320 to secure flywheel in TDC position of
cylinder No. 1.
Release camshaft bolts (1).
Tightening torque: 11 31 1AZ
.
Remove chain wheel.
Important!
Protect timing chain to prevent it from falling.
Risk of damage to oil spray nozzle.
Release bolts (1) from outside to inside.
Remove camshaft carrier.
