Removing and installing engine (M47T2)
Special tools required:
•

Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Disconnect battery negative terminal.
•
Remove microfilter housing.
•
Detach B+ line from intake manifold.
•
Remove intake air manifold.
•
Remove exhaust system.
•
Remove transmission.
•
Remove primary catalytic converter / diesel particulate filter.
•
Drain coolant from crankcase.
•
Remove electric fan.
•
Move the hood lid into assembly position.
•
Remove expansion tank.
•
Remove left pressure pipe.
•
Detach right pressure pipe from intercooler.
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of drained coolant.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
