1 Series E87 118d (M47T2) 5-door
Crank engine at crankshaft with special tool 11 6 480 .
Secure crankshaft at flywheel with special tool 11 5 180 .
Important!
Do not release screws (2).
Release sprocket wheel bolts (2).
Marking (1) on inlet camshaft must be flush with cylinder head.
Marking (2) on exhaust camshaft must be flush with cylinder
head.
It is possible to effect turning at the hexagon head of the exhaust
camshaft in order to adjust the gear wheels.
Note:

Marking (1) on inlet camshaft gear must be between
markings (2) on exhaust camshaft gear.
