Replacing pressure line (between high-
pressure pump and pressure accumulator)
(M57 / M47TU / M57TU / M47T2)

Special tools required:

13 5 020

Layout of common rail system.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Read fault memory of DDE control unit. 

Switch off ignition.

Cover intake ducts.

Disconnect and connect intake air manifold.

Important!

When working on the oil, coolant or fuel circuit, you must
protect the alternator against contamination.

Cover alternator with suitable materials.

Failure to comply with this procedure may result in an
alternator malfunction.
