Removing and installing or replacing
Junction Box electronics
Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD protection).
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Disconnect battery negative lead
•
Remove trim for instrument panel, bottom right
•
Remove footwell side trim panel on A-pillar on right
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release screws (2).
Pull junction box electronics (3) in direction of arrow out of
passenger compartment fuse box.
Disconnect plug connection behind and remove junction box
electronics (3).
Replacement:
•
Carry out vehicle programming/coding
•
Delete transport mode
