Sprayer for air conditioner

Situation:
A new sprayer has been developed for professional cleaning and disinfection of the
evaporator in the heating and air conditioning system.
In particular for vehicles operated in extreme climatic conditions (high temperatures and
atmospheric humidity) and with an unfavourable driving profile (short-distance driving), it is
only possible to eliminate unpleasant smells by mechanical cleaning.
In principle the following procedure is recommended:
The Aircomatic evaporator cleaning equipment should be used before using the sprayer.
The Aircomatic evaporator cleaning equipment has been in use in the dealer organisation
since 10/2003. The advantages of this unit, e.g. easy and time-saving operation, are
described in Service Information bulletin 8 04 03 043
.
If the desired results are not achieved in the cases described above using chemical
cleaning with the Aircomatic evaporator cleaning equipment, an optimal result can only be
achieved by using a sprayer.
Note:
The new special tool will also be available for use on future models (the new 3-
series).
The new sprayer is operated in conjunction with the HRS spray gun manufactured by SATA
(order number 81 45 9 429 217).
Please refer to Enclosure 1.
Procedure:
The sprayer will only be supplied to order.
