Replacing coolant temperature sensor (N47)
Special tools required:
•
11 8 850
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read fault memory of DDE control unit
•
Switch off ignition
•
Remove acoustic cover
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of escaping coolant.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
Unlock plug (1) with hook (2) and disconnect.
Remove temperature sensor (3) with 11 8 850 .
Tightening torque 13 62 2AZ
.
If necessary, top up coolant.
