1 Series E87 120d (M47T2) 5-door
Raise engine at vibration damper in direction of arrow.
Slide in special tool 11 7 360 in direction of arrow between
front axle carrier and engine oil sump.
Unscrew nut (1).
Remove grounding strap (2).
Unlock quick-release fastener (1) and disconnect.
Release coolant hose (3) from retaining clip (2).
Remove coolant hose (3).
Installation:
Quick-release couplings of coolant hoses are correctly fitted when
they snap into place with a clearly audible click.
Suspend special tool 11 0 000 from engine crane.
Suspend special tool 11 0 000 from the designated mounting
eyelets (1) only.
Detach engine wiring harness from electronics box and secure to
engine.
Lift engine out with crane.
