1 Series E87 120d (M47T2) 5-door
Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 51 71 07AZ
.
Remove holder (2) for handle in direction of arrow.
Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Unfasten screws (2).
Tightening torque 72 2 03AZ
.
Remove gas generator with head airbag.
Installation:
The head airbag must be noiseless when installed.
Preparing new holder:
•
Position fabric tape lug (1) on holder
•
Position holder (1) on airbag module (folding pack)
•
Hole (2) in protective sleeve of folding pack serves as
orientation aid
