Replacing wiring harness section for injectors
(N47)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

- 

Read fault memory of DDE control unit

- 

Switch off ignition

- 

Disconnect battery negative lead

- 

Remove acoustic cover

- 

Remove microfilter housing

- 

Unscrew battery positive lead from alternator and lay to one

side

Information on E83 electronics box at: Remove control unit.

Unlock fasteners (1) from below and slide upwards approx.
10 mm.

Unlock locks (2) in direction of arrow.

Remove cover (3).

Unlock plug (1) from DDE control unit and detach in upward
direction.

Press out retaining clip (1) with a small screwdriver approx.
2 mm in direction of arrow.

Pull out plugs (2) towards rear.

Installation:

Insert plugs and slide retaining clip back.

Check that plugs (2) are firmly seated.
