Removing and installing/replacing pressure
accumulator of injection system (N47)
Remove acoustic cover
Replace pressure lines
Disconnect pressure line from high-pressure pump, refer to
"Pressure line (high-pressure pump)"
Important!
When working on the oil, coolant or fuel circuit, you must
protect the alternator against contamination.
Cover alternator with suitable materials.
Failure to comply with this procedure may result in an
alternator malfunction.
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of escaping fuel.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
Detach plug (1) from pressure regulator.
Detach return line (2) from pressure accumulator.
Detach plug from pressure sensor (3).
