Removing and installing/replacing all
injectors in fuel injection system (N47)

Special tools required:

Important!

When working on the oil, coolant or fuel circuit, you must
protect the alternator against contamination.

Cover alternator with suitable materials.

Use only fluff-free cloths

Remove all traces of dirt before removing pipes or individual

components

Recycling:

Catch and dispose of escaping fuel.

Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Read fault memory of DDE control unit

Switch off ignition

Layout of common rail system

Remove microfilter housing

Remove acoustic cover

E83: Remove acoustic cover at rear

Disconnect all leakage oil lines

Remove all pressure lines
