Removing and installing/replacing oil
pressure valve (N43)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Switch off ignition
•
Remove alternator
Warning!
Scalding hazard!
Only perform this task on an engine that has cooled down.
The installation location of the oil pressure valve is under the
intake manifold.
Engine oil can escape when the oil pressure valve is changed.
Catch and dispose of oil in accordance with regional guidelines
and directives.
Note:
For purposes of clarity, this work step is shown without the intake
air manifold.
Unlock plug connections and detach.
Release screw.
Remove oil pressure valve (1).
Installation:
Tightening torque 11 41 12AZ
.
Check engine oil level, top up engine oil if necessary.
