The BMW 1-Series (E87) offers the comfort and luxury of a large saloon in the compact class.
Get in and drive off - the Comfort Access system from the BMW 7-Series makes this possible without having to
search for the key. Simply having the identification sensor in your pocket is enough.
Ignition lock and ignition key are things of the past. The engine is simply and ergonomically started with the START-
STOP button.
Comfort Access is an optional item of special equipment.
Intelligent systems keep a check on, for example, the oil level. A dipstick is no longer needed on the spark-ignition
engines.
The BMW 1-Series has the electrical system from the BMW 5-Series (E60). This means that in many respects it has
all the technology of the BMW 7-Series.
