Crank engine at central bolt and secure flywheel with special tool
11 5 120  in firing TDC position of cylinder no. 1.

Automatic transmission only

Illustration does not show automatic transmission.

Important!

On engines with automatic transmissions, there is shortly
before the special tool bore for the TDC position a large bore
which can be confused with the special tool bore.

If the flywheel is secured in the correct bore with special tool
11 5 120 , the engine can no longer be moved at the central bolt.

Note positions of exhaust and inlet camshafts.

Both camshaft angles point inwards at an angle.

Mount special tool 11 8 690  on cylinder head.
