Replacing guide bearing in crankshaft (M40)
Pilot journal of drive shaft with 12 mm diameter:
Remove thrust bearing with Special Tool 11 2 010.
Installation:
Install new thrust bearing and drive firmly home with special
tool 11 2 030 in conjunction with special tool 00 5 500.
Pilot journal of drive shaft with 15 mm diameter:
Remove thrust bearing with Special Tool 11 2 340.
