Support for intake system loose

E36/5 M43B16, M44

Situation:

On the vehicles stated below, a bolt connection supporting the intake system was not
correctly tightened.

Affected 
vehicles:

E36/5 M43B16, M44 
Manufacturing period: as per selection of vehicle identification numbers (June 2000 to July
2000)

Procedure:

Tighten upper hexagon bolt supporting intake manifold (PN 11 61 1 743 132) to
15 Nm.

Reimbursement:

Material and labour costs incurred can be claimed through the usual warranty channels
subject to current warranty terms.
