Situation:
Damaged or spent gas bottles constitute hazardous goods, since they always contain
natural gas residues. These bottles should be disposed of by specialists.
Affected vehicles:
E36/316g, E34/518g
Production period: throughout series production
Procedure:
The gas bottles are collected, complete with frame, by CCR Deutschland AG,
Werkstättenentsorgung, Rosenheimer Str. 139, 81671 München. This company takes
care of the disposal of the gas bottles, as well as obtaining proof of disposal, and invoicing.
Note:
The procedure for a warranty case is not affected by these instructions.
Note:
Disposal is chargeable.
It is not possible to make a claim for reimbursement under warranty.
