Replacing Fuel Filter (M40, M42, M43, S50)
Disconnect fuel delivery line with special tool 13 3 010 from front
and back of filter.
Unfasten hose clips (1 and 2).
Unfasten the hose clamp (1) and extract fuel hose from top of
delivery line.
Disconnect fuel hoses. Catch fuel escaping from filter and dispose
of in the correct way. Unfasten screw (3), press apart the
tightening strap slightly and remove the filter.
Installation:
Check direction of flow (arrow).
Arrow must point towards the injection valve strip.
