3 Series E36 316g (M43) COMP
Lift tank cover and remove by pulling through luggage
compartment.
Unfasten hose clip (1) and pull back hose sheath (2).
Secure nut (1) with pliers (3) to prevent it from falling into the hose
sheath (3) and unfasten the nut (1).
Mark installation height of water drain hose (1) in condensate drip
tray (2).
Remove water drain hose (1) from condensate drip tray (2).
Installation:
Note installation height of water drain hose (1) in condensate
drip tray (2): all condensed water must be able to flow out of
drip tray (2) and through vehicle floor.
