Opening/closing CNG-Swage-Lok connection
Swage-Lok connections are clamping ring screw
connections which are very well suited for connecting gas-
tight high-pressure lines.
When opening/closing these connections, ensure that lines
and surrounding area are absolutely clean.
Assembly:
Clamping rings (2/3) must be fitted to pipe (1).
Installation:
Check pipe (1) and clamping rings (2/3) for signs of scoring or
other damage. If any damage can be identified, replace
complete pipe together with clamping rings.
Insert pipe (1) with clamping rings loosely into the screw
connection body (2) until front clamping ring is securely mounted.
Tighten nut (1) down handtight.
