Instructions on repairing vehicles with natural gas propulsion
On vehicles with natural gas propulsion (CNG-vehicle), E36 compact, E34 touring,
the CNG gas bottle with retaining frame must be removed prior to all welding and painting work,
refer to respective TIS Repair Manual, Constr. Group 13, Working Position 13 83 000.
If no TIS Repair Manual is available, the corresponding requirements for the E36 compact are to be taken from the
microfilm of the Repair Manual for the E34 touring.
