Protect trunk lid to prevent it from dropping, then remove gas
pressure prop.
Caution!
Gas pressure props have high resistance.
Loosen left and right screws until the trunk lid is still just able to
move.
Caution!
Before closing the trunk lid and when closing the trunk lid,
ensure that the body and/or trunk lid are not damaged.
Close trunk lid.
Adjusting gap dimensions and position of trunk lid relative to the
other fittings on the body,
refer to 41 00 ...
Caution!
On transition area between roof/tailgate, tailgate must not
extend above height of roof or wind noise will be created.
Open tailgate and secure to prevent it from dropping.
