Replacing contact protector for net wind
deflector
Remove contact protector if necessary.
Open folding sunroof.
Clean adhesive area (1) of cover at front/rear and treate with black
paint pencil (sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service).
Close folding sunroof (1) until it rests against release lever (2) and
marke area of release lever (3) with a pencil.
Open folding sunroof.
Detach liner (1) from contact protector (2). Press contact protector
(2) in marked area (3) onto underside of cover.
Close folding sunroof, check position of protector (2) and remove
marking (3) (rub off).
