3 Series E36 316g (M43) COMP
Front Adjustment:
Unscrew left and right screws (1) and replace (micro-
encapsulated) or install old screws with Loctite No. 270, Source of
Supply: BMW Parts.
Push sun-roof lid up or down until the ideal adjustment is reached.
Tighten down screws (1).
Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data
Turn winder counterclockwise until resistance is felt (dead travel).
Continue turning winder about 1/2 turn.
Cars with Electric Sun Roof:
Briefly touch button to open the roof.
Rear end of sun-roof lid should now be lowered by distance (A).
Distance (A) = 2 to 3 mm
