Removing and installing fuel tank
Caution!
After installation of fuel tank / before engine is started for
first time:
Check electrical resistance between ground tape (tank filler
pipe) and wheel hub.
Measuring value approx. 0.6
Ω
Fill fuel tank with at least 5 litres of fuel.
Draw the fuel out of the fuel tank
refer to 16 00 005
Right Tank Section:
Disconnect plug connection (1) for fuel pump.
Disconnect plug connection (2) for fuel level sensor.
Left Tank Section:
Remove plug connection for fuel level sensor.
Left Tank Section:
Disconnect fuel return hose (1).
